Creating a Centralized Office of IT and E-Governance

To establish the Office of Information Technology and E-Governance under the OPMCM within three months to resolve the existing fragmented structures, lack of interoperability, weak standards and institutional coordination, shortage of skilled manpower and technical capacity, and ineffectiveness in service delivery in Nepal's IT and e-governance system, thereby establishing an integrated, secure, efficient, and result-oriented digital governance system. To abolish the current Department of Information Technology and make arrangements to operate all public bodies related to IT under this new office.

नेपालको सूचना प्रविधि तथा विद्युतीय शासन प्रणालीमा विघमान खण्डीकृत संरचना, अन्तरआवद्धताको अभाव, मापदण्ड तथा संस्थागत समन्वयको कमजोरी, दक्ष जनशक्ति र प्राविधिक क्षमताको कमी तथा सेवा प्रवाहमा देखिएको अप्रभावकारिता समाधान गरी एकीकृत, सुरक्षित, दक्ष र परिणाममुखी डिजिटल शासन प्रणाली स्थापना गर्न प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालय मातहत रहने गरी सूचना प्रविधि तथा विद्युतीय शासन कार्यालय स्थापना गर्ने कार्य तीन महिनाभित्र सम्पन्न गर्ने। हालको सूचना प्रविधि विभाग खारेज गर्नेतथ सूचना प्रविधिसम्बन्धी सवै सार्वजनिक निकायहरूलाई यस कार्यालय अन्तर्गत सञ्चालन गर्ने व्यवस्था मिलाउने।
