Downsizing to 17 Federal Ministries
To solve the problem of the number of ministries being larger than necessary and increasing current expenditures, to amend the existing Government of Nepal (Allocation of Business) Rules with a decision to reduce the number of ministries to 17 federal ministries within 30 days. In the context of reviewing the number of ministries, if existing approved positions need to be managed, to manage promotions in a way that does not affect service delivery. Accordingly, to form a "Restructuring Management Secretariat" in the OPMCM to prepare a Transition Roadmap for service continuity and to manage personnel, budget, and programs.
मन्त्रालयहरूको सङ्ख्या आवश्यकतामन्दा ठूलो भई चालु खर्च बढेको समस्यालाई समाधान गर्न ३० दिनभित्र मन्त्रालयको सङ्ख्या घटाउने निर्णयसहित मौजुदा नेपाल सरकार (कार्य विभाजन) नियमावली संशोधन गरी सङ्गीय मन्त्रालयको सङ्ख्या १७ कायम गर्ने। मन्त्रालयहरूको सङ्ख्या पुनरावलोकन गर्ने सन्दर्भमा हाल कायम रहेका दरवन्दीहरूसमेत व्यवस्थापन गर्नुपर्ने भएमा सेवा प्रवाहलाई असर नपर्ने गरी बढुवा व्यवस्थापन गर्ने। सो बमोजिम सेवा निरन्तरताका लागि सङ्क्रमण मार्गचित्र (Transition Roadmap) तयार गर्न, जनशक्ति, बजेट तथा कार्यक्रम लगायतका प्रबन्ध मिलाउन प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयमा "पुनर्संरचना व्यवस्थापन सचिवालय" गठन गर्ने।
